For years kaiju eiga has been synonymous with bad dubbing and shouldered a vast gulf of poor English speaking presentations. Arguably, much of the Godzilla series' English dubbing is deserves scorn—Anyone who has suffered through Omni Productions' limited range knows this well. On the flip side Sony, American International Pictures (AIP) and others enlisted talent with a real sense of quality and passion; as a result, their fervor translated to more satisfying performances.
